Kennedy-King Memorial College Scholarship Fund, Ltd.

Our 42nd Annual Dinner was held May 21, 2010 in Concord.

We awarded 21 new undergraduate scholarships and 3 graduate scholarships with a total value of $180,000.
The scholars met before the dinner for a group photo.

Eddie Morris of Contra Costa College spoke first.
He told the audience he will attend UC Berkeley to study Chemical Engineering.

Deidra Flanagan-Fisher of Los Medanos College will attend JFK University.
She plans to study Psychology and will help young people avoid some of the challenges she has faced.

Walter Murcia closed the student speaker portion of the program.
He will attend UC Irvine to study Criminal Justice.
He plans to enter the military and eventually join the FBI.

John McPeak, President of the Board of Kennedy-King, served as Master of Ceremonies.
He hopes everyone had a great evening and looks forward to seeing you again next year.
